Mateos comes from a long line of thieves and spies that work for the Spanish Monarchy, he hails from a four-hundred-year-old line of Chaos Claimants, some would claim that his family has direct connections to Jaiho himself, though Mateos refuses to answer to these rumours. He himself has a hard time trying to understand why he was given the gifts he was given - though he’s grateful that these gifts have gotten him out of several dangerous situations; he puts it down to blind luck rather than the element that is running havoc inside him

Aurelie discovered her claim to the house of water when she was just a child, whilst swimming in a river with her brother Brutus, he was caught in a current - afraid and screaming, though no one could hear the girl she found herself mustering up the courage to pull the current of the river back in her direct allowing for Brutus to return to her as well as save his life, for if not for her courage he would have surely died. She is currently training to be an apothecary under her aunt’s watchful eye. As the only water claimant in her family she wonders sometimes if Naiick chose her for a specific reason.

Elemental abilities - Zero Out - able to manipulate gravity to float and fly. Dimension Fold - able to fold the very fabric of space to her whim, may it be temporary hiding something or grinding something out of existence. Suspense - by using gravity, this is almost like telekinesis.
Strengths - Can usually tell when someone is trying to lie to her, doesn't have to be close to participate in combat, strong intuition
Weaknesses - Extremely addicted gambler, terrible balance when on her feet, weak in hand-to-hand combat
Backstory - There was no questioning something was off about Emere when she started floating one day. Just above the ground, and shakily at first, but after a few years, she stopped walking as much altogether. It took Emere forever to come into her abilities--she didn't show any signs until she was 21! Or maybe she was hiding it... No one knows, since they could hardly track her down any given day. Her track record as a gambling addict started young. It occurred to her family that she could have been hiding her awakening to use her abilities to cheat, but no one can be bothered to ask her outright.

Backstory - Nine was the ninth member of his family to be born in the hopes that they could rush the power of the House of Postnos back into the world. His parents had never thought of a real name for him. The power wasn't only with him, though; for a long time he was ignored because the most he could do was shock people who touched him, and even that was accidental. Two other siblings were more powerful than him, so Nine was largely cast aside. By orchestrating his siblings' downfall, his family had no choice but to embrace him as the only hope they had for a claim to power.

Elemental abilities - Void Walker - by sending his body to the Void, he is able to escape damage for a time or otherwise travel. Judas Kiss - a physical touch to exposed skin will spread a poison that slowly kills enemies. Bloodhound - can easily track those exposed to Judas Kiss.
Strengths - Extremely confident and self-assured, jack of all trades, loves to learn
Weaknesses - Noticeable mean streak (when fighting, is known to be unnecessarily aggressive), "cheats" in fights if you expect him to fight by only "honorable" means, never pities others
Backstory - Qrow knew he was connected to death before he knew anything else about himself. He was always an outcast because of his difficulty empathizing with others and light psychopathic tendencies. The only thing he ever really cared about was his sister, but more in a competition sort of way. He loves to constantly challenge her to bigger and crueler things, forever trying to explore the depths of everyone else's depravity to define his own. He doesn't play well with others unless there is something to gain or a challenge to win.

Backstory - How did they find out they were a claimant? Le’eroy, the Little Moon that his mother claimed him to be. He didn’t start as a claimant, simply the child of a claimant; the product of a Native child and a Dane as a father. His mother was a claimant and his father was just a mortal man, but they all lived in the same home together far from the troubles of the world. It wasn’t until the time came when all he had left to call upon was the great Ancient Lunia and she didn’t answer that his world changed completely. His mother was the one who raised him while his father worked in the farmlands throughout the day, she had known his heart well and knew that if there wasn’t someone to always watch over him until he became of proper age that he would become someone to be afraid of, but the request she made to Lunia went unheard. His mother and the Ancient were rather close and they’d talk often in a secret place, but the next time the Ancient went to meet with her all she found was the little moon starved and filled with grief, calling her name over and over again. Now his bright blonde hair which is a trait from his father and the symbols on his skin, the personal tribal markings of his mother, are a reminder of his losses as well as an omen for any and everyone who would cross his path.
